At The Shapes Of, clothes aren’t just clothes. They’re messengers. And if we want our message to matter, the medium has to matter too.
That’s why we choose organic cotton as our canvas. No shortcuts, no cheap tricks. Organic cotton means fewer pesticides, less water waste, and fabrics that respect both people and the planet. It’s our way of saying: fashion doesn’t have to fuel the fast-fashion machine to look good (and feel good).
Every piece we create is designed to be worn, re-worn, and lived in — not tossed out when the next trend rolls in. Because spreading science should never come at the cost of sustainability.
In short: we don’t do fast fashion. We do meaningful fashion.
Give it back to research
At The Shapes Of, fashion is just the beginning. We donate a portion of our profits (5% from our first collection) to support scientific research and the people behind it.
For our very first collection, these funds will go to the University of Groningen, a leading center in the research and treatment of patients with Glycogen Storage Diseases (GSDs).
It’s our way of giving back to the community that inspires our work and supporting the researchers whose dedication drives progress every day.
One more thing...
All our garments* are ethically made in the Czech Republic by NIL Textile, who share our values of fair working conditions and responsible production.
Each piece also comes with a QR code stitched inside: scan it, and you’ll be directed to its recycling point. That way, when your garment has lived its life with you, it doesn’t end up in a landfill — it goes back into the loop.
Fully recyclable,fully circular. Because fashion shouldn’t just tell stories; it should also take responsibility.
